Based on a true story. When a mentally handicapped woman losses her passport, she requests the Goverment to send her back to Germany even though she’s clearly Australian. The over zealous authorities oblige her by locking her up for 12 months - trying to prove she’s German. Her mental state deteriorates, the Germans deny she’s one of theirs. The Police department are looking for a missing person and the immigration department are trying to deport the very same person. A Kafa’esque tale for modern times where who you are is now what you can prove.
